Become a UKDC assistant! – Auditions Sat 22nd June (Chalk Farm)
Do you love Dancing?
Do you like making people happy?
Do you have some spare time in your evenings?
Then come and join our school as an assistant!
We are looking for a selection of friendly people to help join our team.
The audition is on the 22nd of June, with successful applicants doing a ‘trial’ month in July, then ‘officially’ part of the team from September when we re-open after the summer break.
What does an assistant do?.. Beside look amazing of course!
– Dancing in the classes & paying more attention to our beginners
– Come at least once per week to ‘School courses’ (Normally Tues-Thurs)
– Come to at least 50% of ‘Events’ (Bar Salsa/ Weekend Workshops)
– Help with setting up & packing down
– Help with promoting events
– Laugh at Rickys jokes (Mandatory)
PLEASE READ THE ASSISTANT CONTRACT in full before registering to come to the audition.
This is the most important thing to do as everything is outlined in there including time needed, fees & responsibilities.
What types of person are we looking for?
We are not looking for ‘perfect’ or ‘advanced’ dancers.
We are looking for friendly, fun people who are passionate about learning and spreading the love of dance, who are already good movers.
We need people who can commit, have good communication skills and are kind, respectful and motivated.
How do I apply?
1) READ THE ASSISTANT CONTRACT in FULL
2) Please take a few minutes to fill in the registration form (if you don’t fill the form in, you won’t be chosen!)
3) Come along to Chalk Farm on 22nd June between 2:30pm-4pm
Please note, if you are late, you will not be chosen no matter how good you are – being on time is an essential part of the role and it doesn’t bode well turning up to the audition late!
4) If you are successful at this audition, you will be invited to join the team for a one month trial in July.
5) If the one month trial is good, we welcome you as a full UKDC team member from September!
